take the rod and old bush to a suspension shop, we use EA falcon( Ford 88-89) suspension bush,just cut the width and it pushes in and is very solid

I think you're referring to the torque rod bushing. Connects to the head, right?

Hello all, just bought a '79 1200 from my bro in law.(hey kelly if u are reading this) ...there is a dog-bone shaped (suport?) rod that connects to the engine (pass side)...the bushing closest to the engine is totally shot and makes shifting feel a little ragged..you know shakes the whole car when sliding into gear! (manual 4 speed)..what is this part called? I need to find a new set of bushings...any info would be helpful, hope my description is at least close..guess i could get the old camera out if need be...
