Thanks Keil, I had a suspicion the measurements were the same.

Jeff, the 77 back seat came out of a civic I bought in the trading post for AU$90. it's a piece of junk but the seats are decent. I can keep an eye out for seats. I'm in melbourne, down under, whereabouts are you?

If it's any help, the width of the cars are the same. It's only the length of the wheelbase that's different. Comparison was made from a UK spec brochure.

I'm looking to replace the back seat of my '78 and have possibly found a quality back seat from a 3-door '77.
