The bearings and bushings were made by a machine shop in Los Angeles, that does that sort of thing. The work to the control arms was over $700 alone. They did all the work. I used some Whiteline Poly bushes but there are only two front and rear on the car that are the poly.

Bushes are available from Noltec in Australia, if you're feeling lucky...

yes! still fits! and for my apreciattion having only the rear strut bar it will help to the car to be more stiff

Don, do you happen to have the dimensions of the bushings? I have a place near me that sells all sorts of plastics, I might try to pick up some Delrin or Polyurethane and make my own. I'd be a little iffy about a cage, I'd rather have something to get a little more stiffness without getting in the way of the interior. I figured a strut tower brace would help keep stuff lined up, but still can be hidden behind the rear seat.
Felipe, I'm guessing that the rear seat will still fit in your car with that strut bar?

No handling improvement will be noticed, unless the rest of your suspension is prepped.Simply put there is 100X more movement in the rubber bushings than in the strut tower moving. Now on a prepped suspension with derin or bearings at the pivot points you can start to see some improvements when the towers are braced allong with other stiffening mods like a cage.

I'm thinking about making a rear strut tower brace for my Civic, but not sure how one would look. Has anyone made one for thier car and kept all the plastic panels the hatchbacks have in the back? If so, how did you go about doing it? I'm thinking about maybe coming up through the tops of the panels somehow, or maybe making it into a combination rear strut brace/hard tonneau cover. Pictures would be helpful! How much (if any) did it improve handling? Thanks in advance!
