Shea, the fan knob on mine had a little set screw, it didn't pop off. I agree about the carefully part though!

You want to "CAREFULLY" remove the control knobs from the heater slide controls (they press on). That little fan knob pops off too. Then, you can "REALLY" carefully pop the heater control panel face off of the dash, it kinda clips in around the edges. A thin tiny screwdriver and lots of patience will be your best friends. The bulb socket just clips into the backside of the control panel face.

all of the north american civic's had backlit heater faces, the bulb is half the size of the dash bulb, pull your's out and hit the local Lordco...

Kurt, what year civic do u have? earlier 1g civics didn't have backlit heater control panels. I'm not sure about when they were introduced, but my '77 has them.

Yup, there's a light, you may be able to get at it by pulling the knobs off, the faceplate off, and removing a few screws in there. Otherwise you might have to do some wicked contortions to get a hand up there behind the dash. Last time I really looked at it was when I had the dash out of my car.

Can't help you out on the engine mount, but they do pop up on e-bay every once in a while.

if so...are they easy to change them...

by the way, anybodys got the top engine mount, (the one from the firewall to the head of the engine) ...the rubber is gone...too much noise...
