'82-'83 US Accords had cable clutches. I put a GJ trans on an '82 EK/EL motor by machining the flywheel to fit the crank. It was relatively cheap to machine the mating surface to fit and drill out the bolt holes bigger.

I've got an EK1 in my 82 sedan w/ a cable clutch here in the states. I have to look at what the year is on it, since it was a mix & match, but i have a feeling that it's an '80 5-spd tranny on an '81 block w/ a prelude head. I'll go down and look at the records a little later to make sure.

The later model accords came with cable clutch - at least here in Australia... perhaps you could look into whether or not the same holds true on your side of the globe.
