The car looks great. Amazing shape. Basically what I know about swaps is very little What I have learned (and correct me if I'm wrong Justin) is that any first generation engines - accord, prelude etc. are fairly easy swaps, minor changes drop in. Once you get into d-series (D16z8 etc) it is a bit more work, cross member cuts, re-weld motor mounts, graft wire harness for FI. If you decide to go b-series, it is hell of a lot of work, the tranny goes into your fender....you get the drift...it's super tight in the bay. But anything can be done Time + Money = Anything...we've seen a 350 chev. small block in one.....yeah....insane....and if you want old school, get an EB3 and EB1 and start building them into one, bore it, throw in a cam new rods, RS header and your off.....I say it like it might be easy...
Here are a couple sites to help your research.

I'm still fairly new to all this as well, but learning, so I understand your want for knowledge on all this. Again nice car

nightflare, i've noticed your really interested in getting started on your car. we all understand the addiction. the search feature on this site is your best tool...take a week and read and learn. on any car anything is possible, you just need time and money. but just take time and read. I'm sure we can all help you out, but check old post's and maybe find someone in your area to talk to face to face.
BTW, any photo's of your new ride?

Hey Peter, I`d like to ask you something about your engine.
At the nsx forum you said;
"Actually, I really wanted to put a b18 or even a b16 in but I'd need a CVCC body. The motor I'm using is from a 2001 Acura EL, which is a 126 hp 1600 cc SOHC VTEC motor. The stock motor in my Civic was a 1200 cc 56 or 57 hp motor."
To make the 01 Acura engine fit, did you have to do a lot of modifications? And was it expensive?
It looks really nice!

Peter you should take your car up to Hope one day and we'll polish that valve cover. Aluminum + polish + Dremel = Shiny

Haha, things on Justin's "to do" list...after I get him all the money I owe him.....suspension, wheels + tires, and the '75 bumpers.
The NSX used to be my daily driver...now I pedal my bike to work.
