Both should work just fine, you will need the intermittent wiper relay and some additional wiring and plugs though. The washer motors were the same in all the early Hondas for connections.

I have a 79 1200 civic but it is missing the washer pump and reservoir. Does anyone know if the pump from this will connect with my harness directly? Also, does this reservior mount to the same bracket as the 1200?

PS - Any chance that this is a direct plug-in for my 1200 or does the wiper motor need to be changed too? Intermittant wipers would be pretty cool.
