As they are the same era im sure parts will be no easier to find for an EL/EK. Getting a full manifold made up will be no more expensive than getting a random adapter made up, and the adapter plate will never be a good flowing set up. Just do it right the first time and then you should have no problems with it in the future. There will be many people in your area who do automotive fabrication. Look.

because this would be cheaper and if it could be done and work as well then i would rather save. plus i dont know of anyone in my aread that could make on, but ive decided on an ek engine. and im sure that would be easyer to find parts for

D series engines are really nothing like EB engines...
You might be able to make an adapter at that end. Why dont you just get made/make a custom manifold like everyone else does?!

well i would get an turbo exhaust manifold for a d series crk. would that fit, or would i need to make another flange to attatch to the engine?

An adapter would be a section that goes between the end of your header and the turbo exhaust housing. It would have a plate on one side that bolted to the turbo, and a plate on the other side that bolts to the header.

could i used my flange< i could switch them and get my flange welded to the turbo exhause? so the exhaust piping lines up just not the flange bolts?
