I used the rear back plates and drums off of an '83 S model civic I had. They were both 181mm drums so a wasn't concerned with the over-all diam. The drums off the civic were a little narrow and bottomed out on the spindle. I just took a .032 machine shim I found at the local hardware store and slid it between the inner bearing and inner seal. Works great.

HOW DID YOU DO THE REAR BY THE WAY?

What about the spline pattern in the hub. I have an '81 accord that I have done the 4x100 rear drum conversion but am having trouble with the front. The Spline on the half-shaft is a 24 tooth and the spline on the hub I picked up from the salvage yard off an 81 civic is a 23 tooth spline. Any thoughts, I'm getting a little frustrated.

98 Accord or Prelude VTI-R or some CRV calipers, will bolt on. take your knuckle with EN1(1980) hub pressed in, to your wrecker and try bits out

I picked up an 81 Accord SE, and I was wondering if I can do the 4x100 swap with an 83 or newer hub with the wagon knuckles on this one.
Still doing it on my 75 Civic, but since I need new suspension on the front of this Accord I wanna do the bigger brake and hub swap.
thanks for all the help
