i loved the arches on mine man and yours look in one word, tight.it makes me want a fist gen civic again so bad. i tried to do what your doing and it never worked for me so i put vw jetta arches over the front and turbo sunbird in the rear i loved the look even with it un finished looking it was something to enjoy. this time around i am skipping the side effects, and going with first gen accent bumpers front and rear and paintable vw arches all around over a bad glass job like before to cover up the bare metal but i cant wait to get a civic but i can only afford a two hundred dollar ass jobby for now.
thanks Adrian Martin from vancouver
call me i would love to see your ride 778 322 3233

Oh, the woes of the sedan owner It throws a big wrench in the works to have the door sills so close to the fender. I'll have to find a way to work around it I suppose.
What's up w/ the 510 in back. Photos/specs? The 70's really kicked @$$ for these old imports.

I'm not sure the offset of the wheels but I have 1" hub adapters. I had to move the fender lip out 5.5cm to match right up with the sidewall of the tire.
Is there a measurement I can make to calculate the offset for the mags?
Cheers,
Colin

Hey guys,
So I got a bunch of fiberglassing materials. Lots (4 yards of glass, 4 literrs of resin, etc) For $100.
I cut the original lip off the fender, right along the crease, cut about 1/2" off it to make look thinner, added some coat hanger supports, and taped it up. Now its all about wrapping it in 2 layers of fiberrglass before I bondo it and paint. Check it out though...first layer (not even) and it looks decent!
