Sorry, yeah .. ebay auction guy didn't email back and his manifold is useless . He also appears to have cancelled the auction.
I haven't even had a chance to think about cars much lately but I will be seeing Wayne at the Motorkhana Nationals tomorrow and I'll try to remember to talk to him (thanks for reminding me). I've never been to the Nationals before so should be interesting, especially as I believe there are only 4 entrants in my class (three of us in our beast) and one other guy. There may even be the chance for prize money .

Adrian you should say your talking about the E-bay auction Some people might think your talking about my setup.
So hows the diff stiff doing? I'm getting ready to yank my tranny again and some close gears sure would be cool.

I also sent him an email with no reply. The manifold is useless. No water outlet and the port spacing looks wrong.

I have some RS carbs and manifold for sale is some one wants a set
By John S. (66.142.44.195) on Friday, October 22, 2004 - 10:37 am: |
I sent this dude an eMail telling him for sure that they are not early EB RS carbs. I asked him to create another picture of the front (cyl head side) of the manifold so we might be able to do a visual matchup. Haven't heard back from him...too bad because even if the carbs are useless to us the manifold might not be so useless.

The guy selling them says they are for an EB Civic but he's wrong.

o ok sorry bout that
but thanks for correcting me adrian
By Adrian (Evocivic) (203.42.97.141) on Sunday, October 17, 2004 - 06:19 pm: |
They're not RS carbs, that's for sure. Wrong carbs, wrong manifold, far too many hoses. They won't fit an EB engine.
I'd guess they're from a twin carb Prelude or some such thing.
