I had the same problem - it's caused by a loose wire connection under the dash; right below, little left of the steering column. Not exactly sure which wire as I was annoyed with it and just reached down and wiggled the wires. Hasn't happened since - over 10,000kms ago.

could be a broken timer or a rotted connector under the seat.. you can scotch bright the connector terminals. Not sure you fix the timer. my buzzer was burnt out so I just disconnected the light. i usually know when I've got my seatbelt on :D

My Fasten Seat belt light and buzzer go on and off randomly all of a sudden. With the seat belt clicked in, the buzzer is quiet, but the light still comes on and off. Is this a loose wire? Where should I look?? Thanks!
