the pump im using i picked up from a race supply store in auckland -was better for the aplication as it runs low p.s.i between 2.5 to 6psi so is good for dellorttos -and the holley fuel pumps are expensive (about 200)and also would require a regulator (another 150-200) its mounted on a bracket under the airfilters was pretty cheap mod pump $80 + $25 new fuel filter + a metre fuel line $25 and has helped heaps as it was starving past 5k -the delortos are sweet to drive and they have a good nice sound but airflow is the big issue (im currently dealing with mine)and the fuel bill hasnt burnt a hole in my pocket-if you are interested in maybe getting one of these pumps email me could sort some thing out

and its the metric bugger! lol

I'm running a Carter pump on my Dellorto set up btw 2-4 psi and it works fine. I'm not running a regulator either so I guess I was lucky :) The Dellortos like good volume but low pressure.

Be sure you run a fuel pressure regulator and keep it in the 2-4 psi range. I don't know what the metric units are but the fuel pressure is really low. Big hose, low pressure. Otherwise the float stays open and you get all sorts of fuel metering issues.

On my 1200 eb3 I have 5 cm between the end of my trumpets and the fire wall. My trumpets are about 3.5 cm long. The stock fuel pump is definately inadequate. I run headers, a hot cam, lightly worked head/intake, and the Dell 35s on a stock shortblock up to about 7k rpm. With the stock pump I was having fuel starvation issues above about 5k rpm.

had sooo many problems with fuel delivery in the past, that i would of prefered to stay with the mechanical, but if it doesnt flow enough ill have to put the electric setup that i used with the single 45mm webber

fuel pump goes from the tank into a surge tank, and then another pump that comes out of the surge tank and into the carbies, with a fuel pressure reg near the carb

I'd like some info on the electric pump. Whats the driving like with twin dellortos? Are you set up for race only or just street driving?

I am just about to fit dellortos 35's. Any other thing I need to know?

Is that the metric buuger or an imperial buuger?? Being from OZ I tend to work in metric and like you I want to know! So, measure up fella!!-how many buugers are there, there! buuger all or buuger none! (thats the problem with buugers as a measure, it's either all or nothing)

what is the actual space mm wise between trumpets and firewall? photo makes it look like buuger all

The dell manifold allways has fit :) its the bigger Dual Webber Dcoe manifold that has the problem.

hey bro im running a set of dellorotto 35's they fit...just. im using redline airfilters cause they are the soft sponge type. but one point you need to remember is that the stock fuel pump wont flow hard enough i had to up-grade to a electric one it cost me about $80 nz and hi flow filter $20 works mint. ill find out the brand of it if you want?
