Does one-family ownership count? I couldn't have bought one when they were new, 'cause I wasn't born yet. But, my grandfather did buy one when new, and I inherited it a few years ago. It's not used as a daily driver anymore (it never really was, it's only averaged around 2500 miles a year since new), but I still take it some places.

I would like to know, or more accurately get a feel for, how many individuals still drive their first-generation Honda which they purchased new and have owned ever since. Of particular interest are those cars which remain essentially unmodified and are just transportation, not those restored and/or for show. With the age of these cars being quarter-century, or more, I would think it rare to find a one-owner car still used for basic transportation.

Thanks in advance for your anticipated response.
