Fireball Phil - tell you what, I'll make one scan of a page and email you that for your view to get the idea what it's about,ok?
You could try your luck at eBay auctions for the '79 manual. That's how I happen to get mine.
Not sure if the 1979 CVCC would be the same as with 1976 CVCC...each year usually changes slightly on engine designs.
Really, the tech manual is more like telling what had been made with new changes on new models from last year's models - most on engine and emission control system and few others.

I had a spring measured once (can't remember why) and it was 105 lb/in.

1.75" approx. Spring rates... soft under 100 lbs per inch. I never even wasted mt time measuring them once I found out what they were.

Do you think the information in the 1976 Tech. manual would benefit the 1979 CVCC? Or better yet, how did you get that 1976 Tech. manual so maybe I can get a 1979 Tech. manual?
thanks,
Phil

Just got my new item - it's a 1976 Techinican's maunal for Honda Civics. Taking a look thru pages and see that there are lots of good information with auctal photos showing what to do with CVCC engines to make them run better. I checked my '76 manual and it doesn't have that in there.
That book was meant for Honda shop techinicans back in the days when 1G Civics were new. I have the same books for 1969 Dodges/Plymouths.
Any of you needing something for your CVCC engines - email me and I can scan one or 2 pages for your files. Thks!
