All parts are non stocked, we would require a 50% non refundable deposit to
order these in on our next stocking order with Whiteline.

their site is http://www.pdm-racing.com/ and I was emailing Don.

Very quick service through email.. saved me a tonne of ld charges. How do the prices sound? Looks like about what the going rate for chevs and stuff is.

Look it up on the whiteline web page
Yes I intalled then and getting the old ones out was hard.

Hello Don,

So about how much did the bushings cost you? Have you installed one of every bushing they sell, or just selected a few key ones you were interested in? Thanks.

By Don (199.2.139.175) on Thursday, December 02, 2004 - 05:35 am:

Richard, I just stated that I had them on my car for two years. If you look at the discription you will see numbers those numbers are sizes and the year the bushing fits. Do a web search to find whiteline suspension.

So the kit that superpro's catalog lists will work for first gens? the picture looks like a second gen.
Where is Whiteline located and how do I get a hold of them? I've gotta renew all this stuff soon. do they carry the engine dogbone bushings too or should I fab those out of skateboard wheels ;D.

then you can plug the number into whitelines store. Again Whiteline was soooo trouble free and the shipping by economy post was not bad at all.

have any part numbers for us don? :)

By don (199.2.139.214) on Thursday, November 25, 2004 - 04:53 am:

The problem is some latter 1st gens have different diameter bushings so Notech never took the time to figure that one out, like allot of things.
Whiteline has some bushings for the gen1 I have used them in my car for a few years and am impressed with the quality. They are made by Superpro. Ordering from Whiteline was easy unlike the notech story but you guys dont want to hear that again :)

Four doors? Some people want to try different things and I guess your one of them. Your trying to make a square wheel, Round but if you just put arround you will probably never know the difference. Have fun.:)

Don, I thought you meant 4 door sedans (1st gens). If you have 2 of those in your backyard, then maybe you could sell one =) I have a '76 1200 hatch and a '76 cvcc hatch (wrecked it, that's where the ZC in my wagon came from). Are those the "sedans" you're referring to? Anyways, just thought I'd use up more board space..haha.

I bought all my eurethane bushings (complete set) from "spectrum rubber" in Australia. Weren't cheap though.

"But that's too bad I can't find a 1st gen sedan in the US" You must not have looked very hard :). Most of us have at least two in the back yard. There are allot more that just go to the scrap pile one on this board was advertised just a week ago

By Lay Vorasane (Turbocvzc) (67.181.90.207) on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 - 03:19 am:

Ok Don, I understand now. But that's too bad I can't find a 1st gen sedan in the US! I guess the wagon will have to suffice. I kinda like the solid rear axle, kinda reminds me of my '87 integra 5door with the solid rear axle...it even has the same engine, well what do ya know! Haha Ok, not funny. Thanks though.

By Don (199.2.139.163) on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 - 02:26 pm:

Simply.... dont worry too much about handling with a wagon. They are not built for cornering. they can be improved but wont come close to a sedan in that department. I wouldnt run without a sway bar on a wagon, with the extra weight your spring rate would have to be very very stiff

By Lay Vorasane (Turbocvzc) (67.181.90.207) on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 - 12:38 pm:

Thanks for the "help" guys =) Anthony, I just asked Adrian to get me some when he finds the time, since Noltec won't return my e-mails. Don, I didn't understand your post about the sedan? I wanted to know if anyone with a 1g wagon had driven their car without a front sway bar and how it drives/handles.

By Anthony Stewart (203.173.8.223) on Friday, November 19, 2004 - 05:54 pm:

WWW.NOLTEC.COM.AU, THEY USED MINE AS A TEMPLATE

By Don (199.2.139.209) on Friday, November 19, 2004 - 07:53 am:

Dont base any thing on what we have posted for the sedan. For handling the best mod to your wagon would be to get a sedan with its lighter weight and IRS.

I just bought some sway bar bushings from Napa auto parts. JC whitney has some sway bar ones I think would work. The ones for the radious rod aren't avalble throug Napa any more. I bought two sets and tried to get more and they were gone. I"m trying to get the others throug Honda. Haven't heard back yet.

Does anyone know where I can get some new bushings for my '78 cvcc wagon? I need the front lower control arm inner bushings and radius arm bushings on the control arm as well. I've tried e-mailing Noltec but in vain as they have not replied to either one of my inquiries. I'm going to "re-think" my front suspension and possibly ditch the front sway bar. Does anyone know how a civic wagon drives/handles without the front sway bar? Thanks guys. Lay
