well at least I'll have a fresh 1410cc cammed out engine when its all done.
I've already have the electronic ignition on my project and got an extra ignitor module with this car, so I haveto find a spare en1 distributor. Anyone?

hey Colin....All I know is it was running. Justin and I had it running at his shop and that was basically all I ever saw of it.

Colin, check the points, they were going bad on that car, but he didn't want to spend money on it as it was sold already, so we just cleaned them up. I'd suggest going with an electronic dist. if you have one around

Yea...at Westwood Honda. One of the mechanics, Gianni, bought it off of a guy in north van. He was offered a 91 Civic si so he sold it to me. I put my dual carbs and coil overs on it. Runs alright other than either a fuel starving problem or ignition cutting out, every once in awhile the car surges, but not too often.
So scott, your sure that that EN1 was running good when you pulled it. Cause at first it was a burnt valve. Fixed that after about $1000 later and now #1 and #2 cyl have 1/3 less compression. It just seems like this engine was blown or something.
Cheers,
Colin

Here are the pics, its getting a wee bit frosty up here in Vancouver...finally! Snowboard season!
Well I dunno, I'll check about the bumpers. Just what my buddy claims. It came with a deck which is great cause now I can hook my 10" up to it. Pretty soon I shall throw my dell's on it until my project is ready to use them, also the strut tower brace. I can't wait to insure it.

Its not red with a black hood and a white stipe going over it is it? if it is those bumpers weren't "factory tucked" they were "drilled and driven into a wall tucked" =)

hey guys,
My mechanic freind at work is getting an 89 civic Si so hes selling me his 78 1200 for $1000. A buncha rust but it runs good! I'll post some pics tonight.
Its a special model I think, Bumpers are factory tucked, its a 5spd, deluxe guages...
Do you guys think it will be ok if I put my fresh colt cam and rockers assembly with my Dual carb setup on it? I can't see much being affected other than fuel economy.
Cheers,
Colin
