As far as I know the only parts that need to be machined is the rear hub from 88-2000 civic if you go for a rear disc conversion. or re-drilling the rear drums for the 4x100.
You can bolt in the accord uprights but camber gets totally messed up. Besides your calipers bolt right up to wagon uprights. You really only need the EN outboard cv's, hub's rotors & calipers. for the front.

You can't 'just use them' because they don't fit. There is a reason people got to all the trouble of having stuff machined (it really isn't all that much trouble and there's not a lot that needs to be done.) There's more to worry about than just physically fitting, such as strut angle, steering arm location, CV joints etc. etc.

yea i have already looked at that site countless times but what it doesnt say there is why you cant just use an accords spindles instead of haveing all that stuff machined to fit what is so differnet from the accords spindles that they wont fit (aside from being off an accord)

hey i am the proud new owner of a 1979 cvcc wagon and like many im lookin to do a 4x100 swap my question is can you take the whole spindle assembly (ie..rotor caliper etc)off a 80-83 accord instead of havin to have all that stuff machined and wha not or am i readin the directions on how to do it wrong b/c i was jus in my local scrap yard and the accords spindles look like they will bolt directly in place no probs
