Knock, knock...hello...no guy, your are missing the point. Keep it and at most you would need is a different headgasket by itself...all the rest of the stuff WILL work. You are in it so cheap it would be nuts to sell it again...
I keep trying to get this point across...At this point in the exisitance of the 1st Gen Honda Civic you cannot have too many parts. In another ten years or so everyone might be crying...that is why we must chase out all of the cars in the salvage yards around us, and save all the useable parts...not junk...only the stuff worth keeping.

Actually, John S. you've given me an idea for another possible explanation- the set is waaaay old. I'm thinking that the set was produced sometime around 1975 (or shortly afterwards), so they did not address the later models. Thats all. Whatdoyathink?

If it is a really early head set the cylinder holes on the headgasket itself might be to fit the 70mm bore on the 73-74 models but even if that is the case, like Don said everything else should do fine.

Most of the items are the same I know the gasket is. I'm not sure what changed but its probably minor.

anyone have a 72-75 1200 that needs a head set? I got one off ebay thinking it would work for my 79 1200, but then i recived it and read the fine print (that wasnt in the listing, but anyways)...I only paid 9 bucks total, so i'd be willing to let it go for that..
