From what I recall the CVCCC rad bolts right up as its the same as the 1200 rad just has the extra core so its a little thicker.

will the cvcc rad fit in your 1200? what front/ lower mount setup do you have? i used a mount from an accord. drilled two holes through the front crossmember. very solid. the engine previously had a peice of 2X4 there.

you would have to fabricate custom mounts for any other rad other than the stock 1200 rad and the CVCC rad (3 core).
No difference in performance, its just a rad. Unless your boiling over roadside that is
I have a three core CVCC rad in my shed I got it in case I overheated but I am still running my 1200 rad for my EL & still runs cool even on the hottest of days.

Errol is right..they are thin...cuz my '93 civic's Rad is almost as big as the 1200's one

The 92- radiator is really thin and aluminum and doesn't look like it would be that hard to fit.
Just a thought.

I use my 1200 rad with my EL with no problems.

does anyone see any problems with using a 1200 radiator on and 1800 engine? the engine is in a 1200 body. i've got a good cvcc radiator i was hoping to use, but it won't quite clear the front mount.
