Only one carb has an acelerator pump. There is a little pipe connecting them that takes fuel from the one pump and feeds it to the other carb.
You also can't compare the RS carb setup to the GL1000. Yes they are the same carbs but they are not set up the same.

a friend and i were looking at his RS carbs today an noticed that the pass. side carb doesn't have an accelerator pump and linkage like the drivers side does. both carbs are sopposed to have this pump and linkage right? was this linkage part of the gl1000 carb setup?
