Also, I would recommend that you pull the plugs and spray WD-40 into each of the cylinders to try and keep the corrosion to a minimum.

I was tryin to get my engine to run today that has been sitting for 5 years. I put some coolant in the rad as it was bone dry. I turned it over and fluid came pouring out the exhuast. So Im pretty sure it is the head gasket (maybe cracked block?). so, coolant would be getting into the combustion chamber and leaking down the cylinders, would this eat away the main bearins? should I drain the oil to prevent the main berings from wrecking?
Your respionse is appreciated as I will drain the oil tonight if this is the case.
