Good points. I think I will stick to finding a Weber or adapting a Datsun or Toy carb.
thanks

Major work just to get it on the car...then even more work getting them to work properly. There exists no extended range of needles, jets etc to help you to dial them in, so it would all be custom fabbing and guesswork. I had considered the possibility of such a swap years ago, and found out the above facts to my disappointment. Damn shame Honda never built any 1500,1600 or 1751 cars with dual carbs, but we must remember that Honda started out building "economy" cars that were designed to run clean (for their time), so I guess they didn't see a need for them...at that time.

The manifold is completely different and will not mate up to the EK porting. They do look close but trust me they are different. I suppose it could be cut up but the stock Prelude carbs have a million vacccuum lines anyway.

Clean set at the junkyard. Want to try something besides a stock carb for my 75 EK upgrade. Custom manifold would be the easy part.
Degree of difficulty 1-10?
thanks
