I picked up a rebuilt set from Napa here in Toronto for $90 Canadian each last year. They are great and no core charges. Took no time to get them into my '79 1200.

If anyone wants my old ones let me know as they are still in a box in the garage (one boot torn, by the CVs are solid).

ok, so maybe I was NOT seeing things, cause I saw the same thing, went back and could not find it either.

Hmm it may have just ended. I had it bookmarked but deleted it when I decided I didn't really need one, so I can't say if it sold or not. Keep an eye out, cause if it didn't sell, it may be re-listed

ps. I know I saw it on shrecks ebay page when he posted a link, which I think was yesterday

Kyle, where did you find that auction? I've searched in there but the closest I've found is for Accord '78-81 models going for $190-ish. could you look and see if you can throw me a bone...err, item number, please? lol!

There is a re-man steering rack on ebay right now if you look, somewhere around $30us I think?

Yeah, true there are few places for remanufactured ones. Mine come from a place called "Metro Driveaxle Specialist" so I don't know whatever they're remanufactured or not. One thing for sure, these parts are hecka shiny and looks new! I got them for $20 plus shipping.

Now if I could find a steering rack piece...that'd complete my front drive nicely.

So far I've gotten disc rotors, axle parts - I'm almost gotten all expect for few small parts yet to get.

It takes about an hour to replace your axles. You should just do it now:)

there is a place in st louis mo. that I called, they said they had rebiult ones in stock on the shelf (it is a cv axle repair place) if I remember it was $70 with an exchange. I know I can still buy remanufactured ones but wow...finding brand new ones

Today I got 2 boxes arrived - finally what I've searched for my civic!! Brand-new wheel axles completed with new CV joints. Can't wait to rebuild entire front drive assmeby someday. Guess I'm all hopped up in joy, lol. :) :)

These parts were almost impossible to get anywhere in Canada...
