Ok, what I didn't understand is how the carb compensates for the added oxygen from the nitrous. After about 5 minutes of research on the theories of nitrous injection I realized there was a second fuel line that injects w/ the nitrous(wet system). I'm sure it's old new to you guys, but it's a world of enlightenment for me:)

I get what you're saying w/ the jet sizing thing there now too. so basically to achieve the same amount of fuel, you can either up the jet size for better flow or up the psi for more pressure and velocity, right?

well so i have been led to believe

Yes it is the carby turbo purple car:)

because the nitrous kit has a certain sized jet, a specific amount of pressure is required for the right amount of fuel to pass through it.

that correct amount of fuel is @ 10psi on anothny's kit and 40psi on my kit

if i change the jets on the kit i can have it to run the same pressure as the carby ( 4psi ) but i have been told it will atomise better if i leave the 40psi jets in

I am running water/methanol injection but that is only to prevent detonation

That purple people-eater is carbed and turboed right? Are you running a secondary injection system along w/ the nitrous? I guess I just don't understand how you're adding fuel up to 40psi w/ a carb. Can you explain? Thanks

Glenn, are you using a video camera? Cause I just uploaded the site last night if you wanted to add the video with the others there.

Have you seen Darrens 2 videos from last year? and Teds, and Felipes. :)

i have a seperate fuel pump for the nitrous line

i was told that it needed to run around 40psi so i will just put an adjustable reg in the line

thanks for your comments

Note. Fuel pressure must not drop below 10psi with NOS, A mate did it and Cooked a set of Mugen pistons.

Take note..

I just purchased a nitrous oxide kit for the purple car

has jets to suit 35, 50, 75, 100 hp shots

hopefully it will help my turbo spool up as its rather large

when i get my camera fixed ill post up some pics
