thanks H if you could post those numbers i'd be glad to add them. and about the 2 port EL,some recent conversations have let me to believe that there isn't so i will change that. there is a 2 port EK tho right? the ER is the city turbo right?

The EN1 produces 68hp at 5500rpm and 78 ft lbs torque at 3000rpm.Somewhere I have hp and torque specs for the EC EG and EL aswell.I will see if I can find them.I notice on you list a 2 port EL??? I don't think there is such a beast.

Yes ,most canadian 80-83 Civic hatches and wagons came with the 1335 EN1.We did, however, get a few with the EJ1.These were badged as 1300 FE.We also got the EM1 which came in the 1500 GL and 1500 GLS.All 4dr sedan models (82-83) had the EM1 aswell. The EN1 is a good engine and a great swap into a 1st gen.

H - would that mean that the '81-'83 Canadian Civics have the EN1 engine rather than the EJ1 engine? I mean back when they were new for Canada? If so...it does look good to me (pondering deep thoughts)

Thats for the EJ1 a US 1.3 engine.The canadain EN1 1.3 is more powerful with 68hp.

Interesting... seems the 2G civics has less power than the 1G civics for their 1335 engines. Still, this page is worth printing out to keep as a copy - handy when I go to junkyards!

This list doesn't include the canadian engines.
