No relation to an EB engine. Iron block, alloy head, non-crossflow. Possible but very expensive to use the crank in an EB/EN ... info on this elsewhere.

How does it relate to the EB engine? Is it the same bore but stroked? or is it a different block?
Is this the crank that people have tried putting into an EN engine as a stroker crank? (with mixed results =P)

An EC is the non CVCC 1500 (1488 actually).

I am looking at buying another 1st gen. It is a 1975 4-door trunk model with tacho and a 1500cc EC engine. What the hell is an EC??? I didnt get a chance to check if it was CVCC or not, but i dont remember seeing CVCC stamped on the rocker cover. Can anyone help me out with some ifo?
Oh and this is in NZ so that will make it a Euro model rather than a American one yes?
