You can ground it anywhere, the unit is a total of about 8 watts rms per channel, I would not suggest running it in parallel, go series, what impedance are your speakers?

Ah, okay. Does that ground for the speaker get run back to the same ground for the radio? I didn't think it was a good idea to use a common ground for the speakers and the power to the rest of the unit. I thought it would cause some electrical noise through the speakers.
There's a wing nut and stud sticking out of the back of the unit, which looks like it could be used for grounding something. Is that a good place to ground the speakers to?
Would it overpower the stereo if I run two sets of speakers off it in a similar fashion?

The green goes to one speaker the grey to the other aswell as a ground to each. You can actually just run three wires (green, grey and ground) back there and branch the ground. That's how mine are run.

Ok, I was looking at my latest toy to play with, a Pioneer 8-Track. It's got 5 wires coming out of the back, a power wire, one for lights, one ground and two more. There's a green and grey that I'm guessing are for the speakers, but I'm not sure how to wire them up. I was expecting two wires for each speaker, but this is only one. Do I ground them to the car body? Run two wires to the speaker and ground one to the radio itself? I can't imagine stereo working with running both wires to each speaker.
Also, I'm planning on using the rear pocket speakers as well as the rear overhead speakers. I know the rear overhead ones don't tolerate lotsa wattage (or even a moderate amount), but wanted to have decent sound from the rear pocket speakers too. Is there any way to run the wiring that will allow me to have lower power going to the overhead ones but a little more running to the pocket speakers? I know you can run them in parallel or series, but I don't see how it can be done with only two pair of speakers.
I'd also like to hear ideas for other places to put speakers. I'm not looking for a high power stereo, just something that sounds nice. If I can put another set of speakers somewhere, I can run them in series with the overhead speakers to cut power levels to the overhead ones due to more resistance.
I'm open to suggestions, I'm not really sure the best way to install the stereo/speaker combination.
