Hehe, no it shouldnt be too hard to get off, its just that i cant be bothered just for the sake of the fuel guage =P

from memory it isnt that difficult 2 remove the tank

i had a similar problem the inside of the tank was rusty

2L of Kero and a bag of bolts + shake the •••• out of the tank for 40 mins

Any way of freeing it up without having to drop the tank off? From the amount of rust thats coming up in the fuel filter i think it is just rusted stuck, it reads 1/4 tank all the time =P

I just filled her up so im hoping that the sloshing fuel will be enough to free it up, but im not too hopeful...
