You will have to trace back the wiring and check the power and ground connections
BTW, the forum usually has to do with cars older than 1983! '99 is just too new

Hi y'all. I'm new to this forum. Just bought my first car. A 1999 Honda Civic EX 2 door coupe. The previous owner made some modifications to the car including replacing the original guage with an EL Glow White Face Reverse Gauge. The problem is that it doesn't light up at night when i try turning it on and therefore i can't read any of the guages when i'm driving at night. It has an on/off switch and an intesity dial, but it doesn't seem to do anything. All the wires seem to be securely connected to the on/off switch. Anyone know how I could figure out what's wrong with it?
Thanks in advance guys.
