Hey again people.
I`ve gotten an oil leak on the left hand side of the engine.
We`re pretty sure it is from the seal for the crankshaft or the camshaft.
Does anyone know where I can get replacements or if I can order them by dimentions.

You can go to http://www.1stgencivic.com/ and create an account(top right side "Register"). This will let you into the other areas that let you know on upgrade options such as how to increase power, interior & body, suspension, etc.
There is even more info here but it takes a lot of time going through all the threads to get the info you need.
BTW, I found the best bet for stereo location options was to put the CD player in the glove box.
Cheers.

Nope,
We have a 4x120 wheel bolt pattern and all the newer Hondas have 4x100 pattern. There is a lot of info on bolt pattern conversions. These conversions also come with a free brake upgrade.

Will these rims fit my 79 Civic?
I know it says 80-04 Civics, I know, but there`s almost always a way, isn`t it?

Hehe, thanks for the answer, and of course, I understand you won`t go doing research and so on for me ;) I was more thinking about someone saying what they`ve done to their Honda But I`ll search around here as much as I can of course!

We understand your frusturations and will be glad to help. But, you will have a hard time getting peeps here to do your homework for you. Stick around, read the threads, check the for sale regularly and ask specific questions about specific subjects. Try using the Keworkd Search. It works pretty well. You would be best off starting with a reparir manual. Get as many as you can. Chilton, Haynes, Honda Service Manual, and a book titled something like How to tune your Honda. The best part about the Civic is that it's well engineered and a pleasure to work on.

About the engine. Of you know of any other "easy" engine swaps just tell me. The Accord is no must! Thanks!

Hey guys and girls :D
As you can see I own a 79 Civic 1200. The thing is that I don`t know anything about how to get it to look better. I mean like what rims i can use, where can i get body kits, what kind of consoles I can use and so on!
I know there`s a LOT of other threads here, but there`s almost to many to get any "good" information.
So I wondered if anyone could help me!
First off I want hotter rims. A bit bigger than the 12", and low profile rubber. Any ideas?
Secondly I want to know a good console I can use for the interior. At the moment i can`t even fit my cd-player in my car
Thirdly I really want more power. I`ve heard about someone who just swapped the original engine with some kind of Accord motor. Fitted right in. Anyone know if this is possible, and what year Accord motor one can use?
I need specific info, since I don`t know alot, it`ll be hard to find things with "broken" info :p
Really hope you people can help me! I LOVE this car and I want to have it for a while, but I want to make it hotter!
