If you need a dual carb setup and are not afraid to step up to the pay window Ted D has a new manifold and set of side drafts for sale.

sorry I forget to add...604-999-0905 is my cell...we will be in town this weekend sourceing parts and picking up a clutch from Justin for the new 5 speed...so we should try and get together?
We also should have the re-build kit here soon...it's just this header and carb....the tear down is complete, we just need to get re-building...I'm babbling....it's just so exciting having some solid response's for options...

check out the post I have going on the classified area.
and yes....I guess we are both Vancouverites
By farenheight101 (24.69.255.203) on Wednesday, June 01, 2005 - 07:40 pm: |
hey vccivic...
were both local Vancouverites right? We should look around locally and see what we find. I'm sure theres a nice place to make custom headers for a decent price. Also if anyone on the board here wants to pitch in we can send em out when they're done.
I'll ask friends at work if they have connections.

So whats the news from Kirk racing?
By vccivic (24.81.144.65) on Sunday, May 29, 2005 - 10:08 pm: |
i am in your boat. I am going to go buy gaskets for other honda engines d and b series and see what fits the closest. I don't know how much flex there would be with the pipes once the mount is cut off, but if it's close enough, just push like hell on the pipes and re-weld on the original mount. Not the best but hey, never do - never learn.
I will let you know because, as of today the header is fu&*ed....the original one is out, thats that. So dorota and I HAVE to figure something out, and stock is not an option
Kirk hasn't contacted me yet, but I'll call him hopefully monday and get talking. I will let you know how it goes. Our garage may be gone soon, so I will have something sorted out very soon, and I will keep any one else who needs headers...posted. please do the same. OK...time for a shower and bed.

Hey vccivic,
Any info on the kirk headers yet?
I was thinking of mabe finding an old crx header or something that would be close to size and fitting and make custom flanges and whatever else to mod it to fit. Ya it sounds like its not worth it but ah well...why not see right?

Mando,
Use the search feature on this site. Justin sent you the link. Like every material item in life: Time + Money = anything.

By vccivic (24.85.232.159) on Thursday, May 26, 2005 - 12:23 pm: |
Do you still have an extra header for the first gen's? I have an EB2 1975 civic.
If not I have contacted Kirk racing as per your old post's.
Let me know as I need to get one
Thanks,
Nathan
