4x100 was started on the Civic for 1980. Before that it was 4x120. The first Gen Accord did use the 4x120 ie. same as the eirly Civic, so you heard right, sort of.

really when does the civic start using 4x100?? I heard earlier civics used the same pattern as an accord but wasnt sure. thx -Ty

Ty, sorry those wheels won't fit as your civic is 4x100 and the accord, CL wheels are 4x114.3 I believe. If you can find some from an integra of the same year range they would work or any newer (than 80-ish) civic wheels.

Hey guys i have a question.. I am buying a 1980-ish civic wagon 4-door and was wondering if I could use my acura 2.3 CL 4-bolt rims. THey are 16" The acura is essentially an accord of same year? thx
