Mine is the cvcc, so I am returning the one I purchased, and ordering the correct one for my specific car.
Again, thank you for the time.

And not all the CVCC's at that!

Depends on what model you have. The 1200's had the alternator mounted in the front of the engine, so it would be the standard rotation. The CVCC's are the ones with the alternator mounted high above the motor mount.

on the factory installed AC cars the AC pump is mounted where the alt usually mounts ,, and a reverse direction alt is mounted on top of the drivers side engine mount .. thats the reverse rotation alt ,,non fact AC cars left the normal alt in place and mounted the AC pump over the drivers side engine mount

More than plenty. Just go OEM for that part. If you're worried about load from a trailer or winch, aribags or a huge stereo or something like that, buy a good battery rather than messing with the alternator.

Nothing yet, just need to replace the alternator, and figured more is better, if it was going to be a staight up swap. I have an aftermarket radio, no amp or anything, so I take it 35amps will be plenty?

umm.. what takes 35 amps on your car?

I bought an alternator for a 75 civic with a/c, for the purpose of getting 45amps, but it seems to spin the oppisite way, and, does not mount at all the same. . I have seen some civic's that had a/c, and the alternator is bolted the other way, and at the top of the engine, so I am assuming this is my problem. Should I just get the 35amp and be done with it? Any input on this would be great

not to worry, lost the auction, but found a reman for 29.00 shipped, and it is a 45amp for a car with ac. Mine does not have air, does anyone know if it will be a problem for use on a 75 civic cvcc with no air?
Thanks,
Eric

I need an alternator, but would like to up grade. there are 2 on ebay. 1 is for a 77 and up civic, and the mounting is different, 3 mount points instead of 2. The other is the correct one. Does anyone know if the later style will bolt up using just 2 mounts?
Asap please, auction ends in 2 hours.
