Ahh ... Japanese engine.
Hopefully it's an RS or GL then as they used a head that's basically exactly the same as the EB3 but with lumpy pistons to get the compression back up.

what???? it might lower the compression. i didnt put the head on the block i bought it that way. the block says eb1 and the head has a "h" stamped on the side. this was a rebuilt engine from japan. i havent even pulled the head off. its not going to be long term. just something to get me around. and dont worry anymore i already got another carb, thanks

You're using an EB1 bottom end with an EB3 head??? ... you do realise this will give you bugger all compression!

hey everyone, its been a while. i am in desprite need of a carb. nothing fancy but i need something to my engine running again. i am in the process of building my turbo motor, but for now i got a fresh rebuilt eb1 block with an eb3 head and i need carb. it looks like don has had a few on ebay and i was wondering if you had anymore. if any one has an extra weber 32/36 and adaptor or anything please let me know. thanks
