As long as you get it done in time for the Langley cruise in show in september, it's all good.

Kyran, try Overseas Auto in Vancouver as I am pretty sure thats where Colin got his. Ask for Jim he seems to be the carb pro there.
As for the distributor I assume you mean the megnetic pick up wires (2). If its like mine the green is negative and purple is positive. Took me quite some time to figure that one out.

Does anyone know where to get some air filters for the dual 32 dellartos

with my 83 i couldn't run with the brake booster because it is in the way of the filter on the left carb with my webers. (second Gen's had the booster on the drivers side) when i first got the setup running i ran for about week without filters and had the brake booster hooked up, it worked fine but not as well as it did with the stock motor and manifold. braking is still fine without the booster.

Why even run a brake booster??? I used the plate / push rod that came on the early Civics and the master just bolts to that I have had no problems stopping and its simple.

I have the eurocarb manifold and dual Dells. I do not use the brake booster at all. I'm not sure it would work well with the dual Dells anyway. I have always suspected that the lack of flow restrictions would result in minimum manifold vacuum and possibly erratic brake booster performance. Besides, you don't really need the booster and I think you get better brake feel without it.
As for the distributor, I took apart the stock distributor and made sure the mechanical advance was working properly. Then I timed the ignition so that I had the optimum advance at 6000 rpm. The mechanical advance was totally open at about 3500 rpm. This resulted in a somewhat advanced idle timing but it didn't matter to me because of my lumpy cam. It idled at about 1200 rpm. The distributor does not need a vacuum advance but it does need an advance of some type. The process of changing the advance for a given rpm is called Mapping The Distributor. What I did was a weak job of mapping. Pros can do it very well for you. I don't know any body that can do it, but I imagine that somebody on the board can lead you in the right direction.

No mike I havent found a linkage setup for the carbs yet but my plan so far is to make my owne for the throttle and the choke. I am not shure what the euro carb manafold is but it is for the 1200 engine. I am trying hard to not have to drill a hole in the manafold (they dont come too cheap) but if that is what I have to do.

Advance should be through ported vacuum to the best of my knowledge.

I moved my brake booster fitting closer drilling and taping it on my RS so I didn't have to run it so far. I would drill and tap it. Distributor? I don't know maybe just use manifold vacume like the booster.

did you find a decent linkage setup. Im assuming this is for the euro carb manifold? Mike

Hey everyone we have just been trying to install a set of dual dellartos and have run into some problems. First of all there is no hole for the brake booster tube so should I just drill and tap a new hole into the manafold or just not put it on. The other problem is that I can seem to find where you would put the tube for the vacume advance on the distributor. Any advice would help.
Thanks,
Kyran.
