Could also use 81 onwards Civic wiper motor. Not sure if it needs re-wiring but they came with intermittent.

Thats great, I will keep my eye out. I thought it might be nice to get a motor from something even newer, like 92-2002 civic! :) Fabricate stuff :) I could use the varible lever they have on a restat type contection on the wiper pully, then turn left and right for varible....I guess I will just have to fool around as no one has done it?

In the mean time though I will grab a first gen accord one and get it hooked up :)

Hi Nathan,
If you can, find a 79-81 Accord Hatchback at a local junk yard as the wiper motor works mint without re-wiring. Also, intermittent was standard on the Accord so you'll want to grab the wiper lever too with any mini-harness that is attached. Been a very long time since I got one for my Civic so going from memory on this one. Good Luck! AndyD

Anyone have a good recommendation for a wiper motor upgrade?

I was thinking maybe one outta 88-92 civic era, using the motor and the intermitant switch...wiring is fine for me to figure out...but the current motor i have just seems weak. Is there a more powerfull option?
