I’ve hi-res close up of wheels which I’m uploading at the moment (I will post a link once there all there – I’m on a slow connection!). Worse one seems the rear-right wheel well which seem the worse off – you can make you own mind form the pics. Rest 3 look decent enough. I’ve only had look underneath he car once recently when new sills where put in to strengthen the sides as part of the MOT work. Generally the bottom is solid – I cant remember specific rusts [I might be able to get photos of the underneath sometime today as someone else is having a look to see if anything can be done about the exhaust – I actually found complete new exhaust silencer locally which if it fits will go on!]. The sunroof – I’ve never done any work on the sunroof and checked the pics again – it could be rust again
. Surprisingly the roof has never leaked since I’ve had it – when I first got the car water used to leak through one of the back windows but that was fixed with a sealant and has never leaked after that. On heavy rains days water does still gets into the trunk though. New parts – I’ve found it very difficult to find anything for this car. Since I’ve had it there no new parts gone in. But the previous owner did some work to it – but not sure if he put new parts in. I do have loads of receipts for this car which I’ve never really properly checked. I did only yesterday by accident find a local place that had one 1977 exhaust silencer in stock – brand new. I’ve got it and will try to see if this goes on later today.
All the glass is good. There is no carpeting as such – floor is cover with ‘plastic cover’ and has mats on the front. It’s a 4 speed manual. No radio or any sound system – although there is a once speaker holder on the front passenger side.
Seals: they are around the windows and do they job of not letting water in. The trunk seal is probably weak as water does sometime gets through on heavy rains days – although I’ve never checked it. Again I can take photos of this area now that someone has mentioned it.
Not sure what you mean by hinges on the hood – hood opens fine from the latch inside the car – no fiddling about it. Back and front bumpers are dented a bit – I got it like this and have left it – it’s not something I’ve done.
All electrics are good – all front and rear lights work. Only time I had a problem was with a bulb going on the front headlight when I first got the car – replaced the bulb and have never experienced any problems with it since.
