I'm sure the 3 heatwaves we experienced last summer, a summer that differs little from all the other summers past, not to menton that summer temps can reach over 46C (115F) has little or no effect metalurgically speaking. You are aware that even glass sags over time, more so in hot climates, let alone steel with 100s of kilos resting on it, in a hot climate. I think the evidence in my original post speaks for itself.

Hey Stephan, I did consider going for lowered springs, but the camber issues would have required camber plates to do it properly, and in the end I'm happy with it, as it is. But it would look really nice if it were a couple of inches lower 8)

Thanks Anthony, the lights are original. If you mean the reverse light and parkers, then they are always recessed into the bumpers on European, JDM, and Australian/NZ delivered models.

Those overriders/bumper guards are really nice. Thanks again for helping me out with them

Thanks Bill :D it drives soo much better now, and the new tires are virtually silent, which is a huge change from the old ones which made lotsa noise. I was reading the wheel alignment printout, and the camber was near perfectly set at zero, like 0.1 degree out, and I have to say, it steers like power steering now, and drives in a straight line without any hands on the steering wheel. It's such a pleasure to drive. Now if I can just extract a little more power with the 32/36 Weber, camshaft and new exhaust, I'll be over the moon.

I'll get the distributor recurved when the motor gets dyno-tuned. That'll be the final stage, after I fit the camshaft, carburetor, and exhaust. I really need to get back into the header project this weekend, which I can do now I've finished the suspension and wheel upgrades.

I never said it was 70mm? But it is the same as the front.

I finally have my collection of Choro Civics which I plan on using Blutac to position them across my dashboard. I had to paint a spare one silver so Keil wouldn't feel left out
