Anyway i stone chipped the wheel arches today after seam sealing, 3 coats of the stuff to protect the old girl from the winters its going to face over the next few years. This will be painted body colour too.
I then hit the bay with hi build primer.
Time to get on with prepping the shell for primer.

Got some parts picked up today as Mr nos himself was in Manchester.
Well pleased with everything.
RS mirrors
75-77 grille
No plate lamps
Front indicators
bumpers
Nos EB1 head
and a few other bits and bobs.
Jay . Thanks.
Finished making my chin spoiler last week. Took about 4 hrs to make, quite pleased with how it looks. Its attached to the front panel with 3 bolts so can be removed quickly if it stops snowing.
Ive also sent my spare set of prelude wheels off for a refurbish. Im having a diamond turned lip with grey centers. These will be my winter wheels to go with these tires. Body shell should be in primer by the end of the week, ill get some pics up soon.

I just want it painted. Really going to crack on with it now. Broke out the cheapo sand blaster before i left tonight and attacked the inside of the hood, its a bit of a mess but should come up nicely. Lots of filler heading for the hood too, it looks like its been sat on a driving range with the amount of dents in it. Ill put primered pics up tomorrow.

If i dont get every scrap of rot out it will only come back in no time, plus if i dont get it to how i want it will bug me like you wouldnt beleive. Ive had my kick the door shut car ( ZX) for nearly 3 years and allthough its nice not to have to worry about it getting damaged its hardly a good advertisement for my buisiness. So its time to have a shiny daily and enjoy looking and driving it every day. Ill probably just tidy it up every now and again as needed. If i have to nip to asda ill have to take the kids though so i can use the wider parent and child spaces.
