I bought an EP3 Civic Type-R
Nice, I will have to follow you closely on this one, I love my EP3
The EP3 you have is it 6 speed, what transmission are you using in the swap?

I will be using my OEM CTR UK spec 6-speed transmission with an M-Factory LSD. It has the same gear ratios as the DC5 ITR and I've upgraded all the internals with Synchrotech carbon synchros with a fresh rebuild after all the track time it saw.

Now I'm just deciding which chassis to install it into... and fabricator prices...

I hated those wheels, so I went with Subaru STi wheels in gold, I had to use some spacers and creative lug nuts to get them to fit...

Came stock on the CTR, RHD and all that jazz. I miss that car, it was always solid on the track and daily driving.

But hopefully the engine and transmission will live on in my little wagon... or another chassis...

Ok here's the scoop on my lift. Saw it locally here in SD on CraigsList for $900, so I checked it out. Lowballed an offer of $700 and it was sold to me. It's an old 1980's design made by a company called Rotary (US Made) and it's rated for 6000 lbs and it works like a charm. Completely flat it's about 4 inches high and lifts to about 3 feet in the air. I was about to purchase a Ranger Quickjack for about $1500 so this was half price!

I put the heaviest car I own on there and it lifted it like it wasn't there. The only thing holding me back from lifting it to full height was a crossbeam in my garage threatening to crush my roof on my HRV.

I built a little ramp system since all my cars are lowered and it clears all my vehicles.

Got a little more work done this week to my wagon, took out the engine and transmission and took out the brake master cylinder and booster. If anyone wants anything from my old engine, I will send it to you for free, you just pay postage. I'm currently planning on selling my Weber 32/36 carburetor since it's only about 7 or 8 months old from new.
