My first classic Honda

Post by panchoyonions »

Little update. Last fuelpump I installed worked for about 400 miles and quit on me. So decided on another pump. Works yay but my Dellortos were not enjoying the extra psi it was pumping. Ran ok around town and ran awesome when I wanted to feel like speedracer. But I kept getting about 4 to 6psi on my pressure read. Not good explains my rich reading on my wideband and some residual fuel on top of the vent cover. Didnt want to install a for so ditched the pump and went with this solid state SU pump 2.7psi. Cross fingers. Also installing re production carpet tan. With some sound dedning strips

I got the carpet from Ardvark carpet.
Fit is good for the price. With patience in trimming the carpet you can get it to fit well.

The car came with coilovers. And haven't messed with the setting. So I really dont know the original ride height to know how much its lowered by.
I am on the look out for BC coilovers though.

Funny how things are. Now I'm looking for another E28 again. Still keeping the honda of course. Took it out for a timed event and had a blast. Definitely purchasing bc coilovers though.
Over all had a blast
