Ahhh Mill Bay. Was that last weekend? It was a super nice weekend I so wanted to pull the cover off mine but ran out of time

Funny you commented on this. As I was driving down there I was thinking I should have sent you a message to meet up. Yes it was last weekend in Mill Bay.
Thanks everyone for the comments, It really does feel good to take the car out for nice day drives. I have discovered though how a two speed Hondamatic is more an in town, run around kinda car

Oh well I'm still enjoying the cruising and getting the thumbs up from passing motorists.

Well I did free up a nice spot to start working and preping the civic yesterday so hopefully I will get it moved over and start the suspension swap this weekend.

What kind of set-up do you have going for your windshield fluid reservoir? Details please (i.e. where did you acquire it?)

The original set up had the washer bag that hung over the battery. I wasn't into covering my brand new optima battery, so I took the washer bottel and bracket out of a 78' civic and just extended the wires to the other side of the engine bey. The electrical conector was the same, so it was very simple.

some markets never got the tank reservoir but on line auctions has several universal ones.

Wow! Beautiful car. Steph hit that nail on the head the '78 hood looks great in black on the early nose. Neal ran into me at work a few weeks ago and mentioned that there's a pristine black Civic on the island. Not positive yours is the one he was talking about but it is definitely clean and aggressive looking. Surprised you decided to keep the Hondamatic though, they could definitely use a third speed for highway use.
Overall great restoration! I love it.
