BC Racing availability
A posting elsewhere raised some issues.
I have immediately contacted BC Racing UK and can allay anyone's fears.
Their responses to my questions are below.
1 new stocks are arriving from the factory.
2 As the units are modular, the hard work has been done.
3 All parts are available and held by the factory
4 Rapid shipping is guaranteed of any out-of-stock items.
5 Bespoke set-ups [spring rates, length etc] are also still available to us.
6 They are available globally, either from your local stockist or direct from BC Racing UK [ask for Kev]
So
Don't panic nor pay over-the-odds for any on auction sites elsewhere.
As ever, a big thanks to them for an immediate response, their usual service is being cheerfully maintained.
Thanks to all at BC .
Pete

BC Racing availability
Personally, I'd get drunk and try offloading them onto someone on http://www.1stgencivic.com , they've got quite a few Civic owners on that site I'm led to believe?juans78cvcc wrote:I purchased a full set not realizing that the rear doesn't work for my car what should i do ?
If the book says it can't be done, do it anyway.

Re: BC Racing availability
Its an easy fix. just get the complete rear suspension off of 1st gen that does work, minus the struts and brakes if yours are in good shape. The 1500 suspension from 75-77 or any 1200. I have a 78 CVCC that I used parts from an early version so my Koni Struts will work.juans78cvcc wrote:I purchased a full set not realizing that the rear doesn't work for my car what should i do ? ill post pictures in a bit but I'm pretty much stuck right now

Re: BC Racing availability
Yes, they make them as they are ordered as its a unique item. Once the order is placed its very quick, you get them in less than 3 weeks
The guy at the US BC Racing said they are surprised on the number of orders being placed for these.

Re: BC Racing availability
The earlier 1500 rear end is the same as the 1200. It's only 78-79 ( possibly some 77) that have the pinch-bolt rear.
Civic Garage for all your rubber seal and weatherstrip needs.

BC Racing availability
Sorry,
Newbie question, i didn't find the explanations on the forum
What is the difference between the normal and the extra low version
http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/applications ... -ra-3.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I suppose the extra low is necessary when you want to be slammed on the ground
How many centimeters there are between the 2 versions ?
Thanks

Re: BC Racing availability
really doubt you will need the extra low version. Its very low. I have the standard set and still have room to go down and its fairly low.
If its a street car opt for the softer springs with the standard set, otherwise it rides a bit rough.
