Advancing the cam will give more mid-range at the expense of the top end. Retarding will maybe give a little more more top-end but will kill the mid-range.
Most tuners end up with somewhere around 4 - 9 degrees advance.

Has anyone played with their adjustable cam gear much? What way worked best for low end tork? Top end RRs?
